What You'll Bring

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

At least 3 years of relevant enterprise/operational risk management reporting experience; preferably in a financial services/regulated environment

Knowledge of enterprise risk management, operational risk and control concepts

Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to bridge business and technical environments, and ability to build professional relationships

Experience in designing and implementing dashboards and reporting

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all areas of work

Organization and time management skills, specifically working to deadlines with multiple deliverables

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Highly developed ability to analyze and present data effectively

Ability to effectively use Microsoft office suite of products (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) and other reporting tools

What we’d love to see:

2-4 years’ experience working in a financial services or regulated operations environment

Governance, Risk and/or Compliance certification (e.g. CCEP, ARM)

Power BI or Tableau experience

Impact You'll Make

Establish and maintain a reporting framework to support the monitoring and management of risk and control assurance activities for the Operational Risk and Control Assurance Program, as well as other ERM related programs and initiatives

Develop, manage and execute Risk Management governance activities, including conducting meetings, assembling and analyzing KRI/KPI data, and recording agreed actions and decisions.

Provide risk management advice and oversight in order to support, enable and independently challenge risk decisions.

Analyze and report risk profile, control performance, and benchmark process performance against TU’s Key Risk Indicators, highlighting any exceptions or areas of concern

Develop and collate a ‘Risk Dashboard’ setting out performance against TU’s risk appetite, key risk information resulting from Control Assurance monitoring or assessment activities

Implement reporting to ensure the effective operation of appropriate risk governance

Provide a summary of risk performance and outlook for Executive Management by preparing top-down risk reporting on current risks, significant issues and mitigating actions

Identify and drive continuous improvement for risk and control reporting to ensure compliance with new and/or changing policies and standards.

Engage with direct manager, internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and ensure reporting and outputs are in alignment to key initiatives.

Act as a subject matter expert in risk and control reporting for the team by providing education and understanding of reports and outputs to risk/control teams and others, as needed

Be a resource to team on process improvement ideas and protocols.
