What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, or related field required. An MBA preferred.

8– 10 years’ experience in Financial Services with demonstrated track record of building relationships, managing business functions or acquiring business in Financial Services. Experience with Credit Card issuers strongly preferred

Demonstrated communication skills and success in positioning complex integrated solutions to clients. Must possess a proven track record in business development, consulting or sales

Proven ability to gain consensus and execute against strategy. 

Proven ability to grow revenue and market share by using a strategic, disciplined, and focused approach. 

Knowledge of sales strategies, business plan formulation and marketing concepts. Some senior management-level experience and P/L responsibility.

Experience with sales management tools, such as salesforce.com.

Experience with and understanding of RFI and RFP proposal preparation processes. 

Impact You'll Make

The Senior Director of Market Development for Financial Services Card, provides sales and subject matter support to select client sales teams and clients, assists in defining strategic direction and thought leadership in the Financial Services vertical, and will be responsible for executing portions of the Business Development strategy as defined by department leaders.You will help define business development plans

You will execute strategic development plans, activities, policies, and objectives to penetrate the market.

You will assist Product Development and Unit Leaders in developing customer collateral

You will leverage familiarity with customer needs, internal operations, and analytic functions, to drive revenue.

You will pursue potential partnerships, identified by Unit leaders, with other solution providers and assist in developing strategies for developing new alliances.

You will encourage, prioritize and implement new opportunities to provide additional products and services to new and existing customers.

You will provide continual analysis of accounts to ensure appropriate classification and prioritization of efforts.

You will support the continued transformation of TransUnion from a data provider to a solutions-based consultative business partner by successfully interfacing with, and gaining internal support from, all facets of the TransUnion organization

You will represent the organization at a variety of public policy, customer relations, and/or industry functions.
