Sr. Financial Analyst- Commercial Finance (AFH)
Description & Requirements
The Sr. Financial Analyst is an integral part of the AFH Commercial team- providing key financial analysis and insights to the Away From Home Business Unit. This individual will own the financial reporting and pricing of key customers within Away From Home- while working closely with Marketing- Sales- and Operational counterparts on strategic initiatives. The individual will drive channel projects and important routines with significant Senior Leadership interaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support planning and forecasting including Monthly Performance Review- Strategic Plan- and Annual Operating Plan
- Optimization of pricing and discount actions to drive profitable growth
- Investigate and resolve variances between financial forecasts and actual results
- Analysis of customer P&L's- industry trends- commodity curves- and product mix impact
- Cross-functional coordination with Marketing- Sales- and Operations on important projects- such as new product commercialization and capital expenditure requests
- Evaluate sales trends to create accurate demand forecast to service customers
- Build compelling presentations for Senior Leadership and influence decision making
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to understand financial results and track KPI's
- Analytical support and predictive modeling of channel strategic initiatives
- Execute enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives and leverage best practices to streamline and harmonize internal practices
- Significant ad hoc opportunities for leadership and analytics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field (i.e. Economics- Mathematics- Finance- Engineering- Accounting- etc.) is required- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Investment Banking- Private Equity- Consulting- Corporate Finance- or Accounting- preferred
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and broad business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel technical skills required

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
