What you get to do:
Reporting to our Vice-President of Compliance Oversight you will enhance and oversee the Compliance Advisory and Issues Management Program and framework.
- Enhance and oversee the Compliance Advisory and Issues Management Program and framework.
- Coach the Issues Management team and manage and approve action plans, remediation, issue risk ratings, issue closure, trend analysis, and reporting.
- Work with bank partners to resolve and fix issues, and report trends.
- Develop a compliance advisory function.
- Develop metrics to assess risk related to Advisory and Issues Management functions to align to compliance goals and strategy.
- Work with business to address issue resolution and measures to reduce compliance risk.
- Identify compliance risk(s) associated with new or changing products and services and advise collaborators on how to reduce those risks.
- Oversee team responsible for reviewing and approving different types of content, including marketing.
- Review and maintain a working knowledge of company policies, processes and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Share knowledge of compliance regulations (e.g. ECOA, TILA, BSA/AML,TCPA, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, SCRA, MLA, and Privacy.)
What you will bring to the team:
- 5 or more years of advisory or issues management experience in financial services or related regulatory agencies, CRCM.
- Experience with JIRA and Monday.
- Management experience with the skills to drive a support function and coordinate between multiple business and support units.
- The ability to engage all levels of business line and support groups
- Ability to identify pragmatic recommendations within an evolving and increasingly complex regulatory environment.
- Successful project management skills; exhibit initiative and intuitive thinking; and ability to meet deadlines
