Who We Are 

Supporting all teams within Trunk Club, the Finance Team guides decision making on cross functional projects and initiatives by providing technical expertise as well as financial and strategic analysis. The analysis and reporting we develop supports key business decisions and influences the near-term and long-term strategic direction of the company. We're a small, collaborative, hard-working team that thrives in the fast-paced environment of Trunk Club.

What You Will Do Everyday

• Perform actual to budget variance analysis and assist with financial statement forecasting
• Support the team in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Contribute to month end accounting close cycle including journal entry preparation and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with day-to-day cash, along with cash flow forecasting
• Record and analyze daily transactional data (i.e., sales, credit card, payroll, cash)
• Assist with adherence to and development of internal control framework and accounting work flow

What Your Background May Look Like

• Accounting and/or Finance degree required
• 1-2 years of work experience
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• CPA is a plus (not required)
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
