Responsibilities

Great opportunity to grow your career! The Supervisor in this fast-paced position will oversee the accounting coordinator who is responsible for processing promotional invoices and a financial analyst who is responsible for promotional accounting related to customer promotions.  The Supervisor will also maintain annual customer promotion program P & L models for a European country. Additional responsibilities:

• Review monthly reporting, balance sheet account reconciliations, and program reconciliations completed by direct report (Financial Analyst)
• Review and approve coding of promotional invoices by direct report
• Complete customer reporting packages and present quarterly package to external customers
• Develop feasibility scenario models for external customers
• Monthly updates of promotional P & L for a European country
• Complete final program reconciliations including summarizing variances for presentation to customer and obtaining customer approvals of reconciled programs for a European country
• Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations
• Continually seek opportunities for process improvements

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
• Must have minimum of 1 year of Supervisory Accounting Experience (in addition to accounting experience)
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Expert in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot tables, v-lookup, maintain macros)
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience with Hyperion, preferred
• Experience with JD Edwards financial modules, preferred
