Temporary Real Estate Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this temporary position will be to process bill payments for real estate investments. This temporary position is responsible for daily transactions relating to the maintenance of direct real estate investments mainly within IRA accounts. This will require management of communications with clients, realtors, attorneys and title companies in order to complete real estate transactions. This role also requires development and maintenance of positive relationships with clients through telephone and email communication. Additional responsibilities include interacting with all necessary internal Millennium departments to resolve client requests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Process real estate transactions (bill payments and purchases) within accounts
Serves as a contact person for clients and related third parties as needed
Maintains a professional approach to client service, consistent with MTC protocol and service levels
Serves as a backup Real Estate Specialist
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance
One to three years prior work experience in a financial services or real estate industry preferred
Working knowledge of investment transactions, transfers between financial firms and/or experience with processing cash movements
IRA knowledge and experience with alternative investments preferred
Experience with real estate preferred
Strong relationship and communication skills applied to both internal and external clients
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong computer aptitude with proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain the highest quality of service and professionalism
Demonstrates the ability to proactively analyze, problem-solve, and make quick sound decisions
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
