Groupon’s corporate treasury team is based in Chicago and has overall responsibility for global treasury activities in 15 countries. The Chicago treasury team works closely with the London treasury team as well as the accounting, legal, and finance departments.
 
The Treasury Analyst plays a critical role in the daily cash management and bank account administration of the Company, and will have the opportunity to work on various projects to improve cash flow forecasting, streamline bank account structures and improve processes and procedures.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

• Update and reconcile the cash flow forecast on a daily basis
• Create and distribute the weekly cash balances report
• Execute intercompany netting transactions via the BMG netting system
• Perform bank account administration such as adding and deleting users, opening and closing accounts, and updating bank signers
• Improve the utilization of the Kyriba treasury workstation
• Execute foreign exchange trades as needed
• Respond to internal and external audit requests
• Assist with annual FBAR reporting
• Assist with various treasury projects

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance or accounting
• 1-3 years experience in a treasury, finance or accounting role
• CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) credential a plus
• Previous experience with Kyriba treasury workstation and/or BMG netting system highly desired
• Familiarity with bank portals such as JPMorgan ACCESS
• Excellent communication skills, strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet expected deadlines
• Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
• Zealous attention to detail
