What will your day look like?
The Treasury Analyst will provide input in identification, development and management of analytics related to credit, liquidity, and interest rate risk. The incumbent will be responsible for a variety of reporting and risk management practices related to the multi-billion-dollar treasury investment portfolio. Additionally, the incumbent will have oversight and responsibilities related to existing and forecasted wholesale funding balances as well as managing the interest rate derivatives portfolio. Responsibilities require strong quantitative analysis skills, excellent team oriented interpersonal skills, and proficiency in a variety of analytical tools including Excel. General direction is received from the Director, Finance & Treasury.

- Monitor all corporate credit exposure related to fixed income investments in the Treasury portfolio with ongoing surveillance and annual assessment of credit conditions
- Assist with individual security analysis including duration, convexity, and horizon scenario total returns, to contribute to the portfolio construction focused on long term performance
- Monitor the interest rate derivatives portfolio and process operational collateral delivery and interest payments
- Monitor and process the wholesale funding portfolio
- Support inter-departmental periodic and transaction-based accounting and financial reporting deliverables, NCUA regulatory analytics, and stress testing assumption support
- Provide various reporting requirements related to ALCO and other risk committee governance and oversight
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Qualifications

- Strong personal interest in the financial market
- Ability to multi-task and deal with heavy volume period with tight time frame parameters
- Effectively collaborate with employees at all levels within the organization
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency in Excel
- Asset Liability Management experience preferred
- Preference toward candidates experienced with data analysis involving investment related datasets
