Job Description Summary

The Treasury Financial Analyst is responsible for cash management, debt management, and insurance for its US domestic and international operations. Additionally, the Analyst will conduct financial planning and analysis for the Enabling group (includes HR, Finance, Legal and Facilities). Role will be 80% Treasury focused and 20% FP&A. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking and analytical skills and be able to effectively communicate financial and operational concepts to all levels and cross-functionally. This position reports to the Manager of FP&A and Treasury.

Job Duties

  • Prepare the daily cash position and initiate wire transfers for the domestic and international operations
  • Maintain the rules and mapping for the treasury management system  
  • Forecast and monitor long-term and short-term cash requirements for domestic and international and complete variance analyses
  • Perform bank fee analyses and make product recommendations to improve efficiencies and reduce fees
  • Manage the day-to-day banking relationships and prepare documentation to open, close, and amend bank accounts
  • Administer and oversee the corporate insurance program and renewal process
  • Assist in the quarterly debt compliance reporting and analyses
  • Tracking and monthly reporting of debt and investment schedules
  • Assist in the budget and forecast process and identify variances to the budget and forecast 
  • Work the Accounting group during the monthly close process 
  • Work with leadership to validate trends and incorporate updated assumptions into the detailed monthly Outlook
  • Provide information and journal entries as part of the monthly close cycle
  • Variance analysis of monthly results vs. prior year, budget, forecast and monthly outlook; month by month trends, etc.
  • Develop efficient, effective operating reports on key drivers of business and company performance
  • Analyze financial data, draw conclusions and present recommendations on decisions and actions
  • Update and provide improvements to financial models
  • Prepare Board materials, as necessary, working with leadership
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvement recommendations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • CTP or CPA a plus
  • Must have at least 1-2 years of corporate finance, corporate treasury, or banking experience
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis techniques
  • Revising Microsoft Excel financial models
  • Developing Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for management
  • Online bank platforms, specifically CashPro, are a plus
  • Workday and Essbase are a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate concepts and issues to different functional areas and levels in a concise manner
  • Self-starter, a curiosity to learn, and a team player
