The Treasury Manager will report to the VP of Finance, with a dotted line to the Corporate Controller. This high profile role will include responsibilities in managing the Company’s cash, investments, and overall liquidity. The Treasury Manager will help manage cash flows, including reporting and forecasting, while also scaling the treasury function by developing best-in-class policies and procedures. This role requires the ability to multi-task and to develop strong working relationships with individuals across the organization.

 

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the corporate cash function, including cash positioning, cash reporting, and forecasting, including evaluating tools and technology to scale the Treasury function
  • Work with external portfolio management team on the management, review, and evaluation of invested corporate cash and client held funds
  • Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with the Corporate Investment Policy
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the company’s banking infrastructure, including evaluating bank and brokerage relationships
  • Manage wire payments, fraud prevention, and bank account setup and maintenance
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities
  • Assist FP&A with developing key inputs into the balance sheet, income statements, and cash flow statements for annual plan and forecasts; working capital management
  • Work cross-functionally in cash and treasury management responsibilities across Banking, Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, and FP&A
  • Manage the Company’s credit facility including covenant forecasting and compliance reporting

 

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other quantitative program required; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years in a similar role; preferably in a public company environment
  • Experience working with several financial institutions
  • Experience in moving large quantities of money across multiple platforms
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple groups
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task across a wide variety of projects and topics
  • Demonstrated ability to create process and develop structure at a growing company
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others, including non-Finance personnel
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel #SH

In the future, this role will be required to work onsite, as outlined by the department, once local government orders indicate that it is possible in addition to when Paylocity determines it is safe to do so.
