Launched in 1999, ShowingTime has ultimately automated the scheduling and management of real estate showings across the country, and brought about a new way for agents to share local market data.  We're looking for a VP of Accounting and Finance to help us continue to grow and expand rapidly.  This position requires a leader who is capable of owning all processes and systems related to the company’s financial operations, billing, financial planning and forecasting. The VP of Accounting and Finance will report to the COO and will lead a team of seven.  Specifically you will:

  • Manage all finance and accounting operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, payroll, payables, accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the annual budget and regular forecast updates.
  • Implement financial and accounting systems that provide accurate and timely financial data.
  • Ensure strong accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and minimize risks.
  • Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
  • Advocate sound financial/business decision making.
  • Advise the CEO and senior leadership on existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
  • Develop metrics or models to improve business operations, budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Evaluate and advise senior leadership on the impact of short-term and long-range initiatives and plans.

Those positioned for success in this role typically have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • At least 7-10 years financial planning & analysis experience including planning and forecasting cycles as well as P&L financial management.
  • Accelerated quantitative and qualitative analytical skills combined with clear written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory experience, with demonstrated success in talent development and functional development.
  • Advanced Excel and financial software experience; secondary research skills needed.
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly articulate information a must.
  • Comfortable in high-growth environments that require agility and ability to adapt quickly.
