As a Paralegal within the Ontra Legal Network, you will leverage your legal expertise to support Ontra's customer base across various product lines. We match you with client opportunities that suit your schedule, offering support throughout the process.
As an independent contractor, you will work remotely utilizing our AI-enabled Insight and Atlas software on project-based implementations or recurring client needs. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-motivated, innovative professional looking to work independently.
A Day in the Life of an Ontra Contractor Paralegal:

• Independently review summarized Limited Partnership Agreements and side letters, reviewing key terms, and organizing obligations using Ontra's AI-enabled software.
• Help clients track their obligations and deadlines to Limited Partners through a centralized dashboard.
• Enhance future fundraising and negotiations by leveraging precedent language and analyzing trends across funds and Limited Partners.
• Assist in de-risking client compliance by managing tasks, subtasks, and alerts across departments.
• Stay updated with new technologies and features within Ontra's software.
• Engage remotely with in-house legal, finance, or investor relations teams at asset management companies or private funds.
• Collaborate regularly with the internal Ontra team.

Requirements for US-Based Paralegals:

• Proven experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within the fund formation or investment management sectors.
• Experience with core fund formation documents, including Limited Partnership Agreements and side letters, is preferred.
• Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
