About The Role
You'll work with other highly skilled developers to build enterprise SaaS applications using modern web technologies in an Agile development environment. As a front end developer, you will work with your fellow developers and other teams to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and create modular front end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You'll be a part of a team that is focused on continuous improvement, software craftsmanship, and good UI/UX strategy. You'll also share your passion for web development and aggressively seek out the best solutions to complex problems
How You'll Make An Impact
You will:
- Work with product and design teams to craft feature concepts
- Use your knowledge and experience to assess the design and technical feasibility of potential features
- Contribute to a modern modular UI by building reusable React components
- Aid in establishing new processes and standards as our company scales
What We're Looking For
Required Skills:
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with server-side CSS pre-processors, such as LESS and SASS
- Expert experience with JavaScript, including proficiency with popular JS frameworks (ReactJS, Angular, Ember, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot browser compatibility issues and craft cross-browser solutions
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Experience implementing responsive web designs
- Strong desire to learn new languages and technologies
- Proven ability to participate in multiple, concurrent projects
- 3+ years relevant professional experience
Helpful Skills (No required):
- Experience with React and related technologies (e.g., Redux)
- Experience with JavaScript testing (e.g., Jasmine, Jest)
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript
- Understanding of Ruby on Rails.
