As a Global Solution Owner for SAP Product Lifecycle Management system, you will be E2E responsible for the strategy, delivery, and day-to-day operations of the SAP PLM solution. SAP PLM is one of the most critical Mondelēz enterprise systems supporting R&D function in their product, packaging, and process design activities. It is integrated with Master Data and Product Information management systems. As such, it requires proper processes for Change and Release management which the global solution owner defines. SAP PLM is also a fundamental system supporting Mondelēz merger & acquisition wherein this role serves as enabler. As the most senior role owning SAP PLM, you will be exposed to senior R&D and IT stakeholders and will co-own SAP PLM roadmap with them. You will have a team member to help you and to grow.

  • Master Data functional process understanding
  • Deep PLM system understanding (preferably SAP)
  • Strong functional and configuration experience in SAP PLM
  • Strong experience with integrating applications/systems
  • Proven experience managing third party vendors delivering solutions.
  • Familiar operating in large and complex multi-national organizations to create alignment for strategic priorities across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Agility to manage and influence in a virtual, remote, worldwide organization.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills


What you need to know about this position:
In this position you will:

  • Partner with R&D business to define SAP PLM evolution strategy & roadmap.
  • Support key projects including R&D innovations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, etc.
  • Define requirements and validate requirements behind enhancement requests.
  • Analyze and transform business requirements into an integrated architectural blueprint spanning applications, systems, and platforms to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Oversee technical delivery by system integrators.
  • Be accountable for SAP PLM support KPIs, with support from the Application Management Support team.
  • Stay on top of the SAP PLM solution budget and licenses.
  • Drive innovation in the way we work: Agile, test automation, etc.

More about this role

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and/or Business Administration
  • 10 or more years technical experience preferably in a Solution Architect role and with master data solutions.
