As a Global Strategy Manager, you will work directly with senior leadership to tackle Optiver’s most complex strategic challenges, influencing critical business decisions and leading high-impact projects. What you’ll do:

As a Global Strategy Manager, you will take on a broad range of strategic responsibilities, including:

  • Executive-Level Problem Solving – Work directly with the Executive Committee and senior business leaders to address high-priority strategic challenges, ensuring Optiver remains at the forefront of financial markets.
  • Strategic Analysis & Business Planning – Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and financial modeling to develop data-driven recommendations that influence key business decisions.
  • Driving Key Business Initiatives – Lead cross-functional projects that enhance growth, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning, ensuring seamless execution from strategy to implementation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence – Serve as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to business leaders, articulating strategic insights and facilitating decision-making across global teams.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes, implement new business models, and explore emerging trends to strengthen Optiver’s market leadership.

Who you are:

Optiver is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven individual with the following qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally from a top-tier consulting firm, a leading technology company, or a financial institution.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced data-driven decision-making abilities, including experience with financial modeling, market analysis, and business performance assessments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across teams.
  • A high sense of ownership and accountability, with a hands-on approach to execution and results.
  • Adaptability and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and industry trends.

Below is the expected base salary for this position. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus (if determined by Optiver) and Optiver’s benefits package with the benefits listed above. 


Base Salary Range
$170,000$220,000 USD
