Our growing Product & Design organization is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and creative Group Product Manager! This position will support Trader Engagement, a new vertical within our organization responsible for 1) helping our (many!) new customers learn to trade futures, 2) engaging our existing active traders with compelling multimedia content, contests, and social, 3) building an experience/hub for content creators to create through our platform, and 4) (indirectly) driving acquisition by creating viral buzz about our evolved experience. The ideal candidate will help the organization consistently deliver customer value using their extensive experience and best practices to innovate, drive, and deliver impactful products and services that will differentiate our offerings and delight our clients.
In this role, you will:
- Spearhead the creation and launch of the Trader Engagement product suite as product lead, focusing on areas such as a trader development program, challenges, livestreaming, community features, social, digital coach etc.
- Collaborate with our business leadership, engineering, design, compliance and product teams to define our product vision and strategy across this vertical, set a roadmap, and deliver outstanding value to customers
- Translate product strategy into requirements for prototype construction and product development
- Contribute to all parts of the product lifecycle processes, including product research, market research, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and product launches
- Understand operational processes and important metrics with an eye on creating efficiencies through internal product introduction or expansion
- Understand NinjaTrader's current product position and keep a finger on the pulse of the competitive landscape to understand competitor value propositions and how they relate to NinjaTrader
- Write PRDs, manage backlogs, prioritize features vs tech debt
- IC role to start, building a small team as we grow
Key Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- 3+ years as PM in fintech, gaming or media
- BA or MS degree in technical field or equivalent working experience
- A unique blend of business and technical understanding that allows you to manage product development from creation through go-to-market – in a “hands on” way
- Demonstrated ability to lead zero to one initiatives affecting many functions across the business, including effective influencing and prioritization
- Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating needs and pain points into product value
- Experience working in a high performing product-design-engineering environment, with the ability to teach best practices to your colleagues
- Experience collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Client Services, and Operations
- Team player mentality
- Comfortable leveraging data, ML and AI in designing products
