The Opportunity

Our high-performance marketing team is seeking an ambitious, analytical, and highly organized Growth Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving profitable growth for our Family customer segment, including new customer acquisition and retention. This individual will be tasked with thinking holistically about growth, spearheading cross-functional projects with teams such as Product, Brand, and Lifecycle to drive more revenue and improve retention rates. The Growth Marketing Manager will manage the relationship with our performance agency, as well as help identify opportunities to optimize our audience segmentation, messaging, landing pages, creative, and/or test into new channels. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving profitable growth for our Family customer segment, with a focus on both new customer acquisition and retention.
  • Plan and coordinate cross-functional projects to drive revenue growth and improve customer retention for Sittercity.
  • Day-to-day management of our digital marketing agency on family acquisition strategy and campaigns.
  • Discover platforms or tools that can help find and retain customers, improve performance, and generate revenue growth. 
  • Participate in the creative development process for new assets and landing pages, such as writing briefs, and guiding creation.
  • Coordinate a consistent feedback loop of creative, audience, and messaging insights to the broader team.
  • Consistently incorporate test learnings into campaigns; track learnings over time to maintain continuous optimization.
  • Find new ways to reach or retain customers through sophisticated audience segmentation and creative executions. 

 

Education and Experience:

  • 4-6 years of paid media experience, preferably working with B2C brands which rely heavily on paid advertising to drive new customer acquisition.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads (SEM) campaigns at minimum monthly spend of $50K is required.
  • Hands-on experience partnering with Lifecycle and Product to drive revenue growth for new customer acquisition and improve retention rates. 
  • Hands-on experience testing into new channels and proving ROI for those channels.
  • Comfortable with managing marketing budgets across multiple channels while optimizing toward blended CAC targets.
  • Entrepreneurial & proactive spirit; strong revenue orientation.
  • Understands the importance of audience segmentation and developing strategic messaging and landing page experiences that speak to these audiences.
  • Strategic, tactical, creative, and motivated, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong data skills including analyzing, visualizing, and extracting insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication – able to articulate what you’re seeing in the data, and what our plan is to optimize our performance.
