What You Will Be Doing – Academic Coach Coordinator

We're looking for someone to lead a team of virtual coaches  in the Academic Coach Coordinator role. This role would involve supporting, mentoring, and coaching our virtual coaches. Our virtual coaching model allows coaches to monitor sessions, facilitate communication, and monitor data. This role will ensure improved instructor and coach performance, positive student outcomes, and overall program success.

  • The Academic Coach Coordinator (Contractor) will complete preparation modules prior to allocation.
  • The Academic Coach Coordinator (Contractor) will lead initial onboarding meetings with the Academic Coaches alongside the Director of Instruction (DOI). 
  • The Academic Coach Coordinator (Contractor) will monitor and assist as needed in program orientation meetings with the program team prior to a program start or within the first week. The team will discuss the program using the checklist to set all parties up for success. 
  • Allocation input for academic coaches & instructors to specific programs
  • Assist Academic Coaches with instructors and subs during sessions as needs arise
  • Collaborate with Academic Coaches, the DOI, and other Elevate team members in standing meetings
  • Monitor learning sequences & program calendars to inform pacing adjustments and communicate with content advisors and DOI
  • Analyze and track overall program success using data from Otus, the platform, and dashboard trends
  • Set professional goals to inform ongoing growth and impact 
  • Complete Academic Coach ratings on a consistent basis 
  • Facilitate professional learning sessions for instructors and Academic Coaches
  • Support with new instructor and Academic Coach live webinar sessions as needed 
  • The Academic Coach Coordinator (Contractor) will provide ongoing coaching support for Academic Coaches and Instructors to their allocated programs.

Who You Are – Academic Coach Coordinator

  • Teaching experience required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in education preferred
  • Past management and leadership experience required, such as instructional coach, team leader, or school administration
  • Experience in the public or private school environment, including using student data to drive instruction
  • Experience in a virtual classroom setting preferred, such as Elevate K-12
  • Keen ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Experience with educational technology tools and Google Suite
  • Displays high level of personal and professional integrity
  • Passion for student success
