Affiliate Training Team Lead

Summary

SMS Assist’s Affiliate Training team resides within the Affiliate Relations department. The Affiliate Training Lead will guide and drive the team’s effort to ensure all users are effectively trained on the One by SMS Assist proprietary technology platform and customer specific policies.

The Lead will manage a team of trainers who are tasked with assessing Affiliate training needs, content creation, keeping content current, training delivery and measuring impact of the team’s output. The role requires a strong leadership presence, be well versed in project management and have a creative and impactful vision for educating the SMS Assist Affiliate base. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Affiliate Training content (guides, videos, live courses, etc.) created and developed for the Affiliate audience
  • Perform a needs analysis and establish long-term strategy to educate and support the Affiliate network in a scalable manner
  • Strategize and work with Product to develop new tools for Operations to use to support our Affiliate network
  • Work with the marketing and design teams to coordinate new Affiliate Training content
  • Review and approve all training documentation/video prior to launch to the Affiliate Network
  • Attend client meetings/calls to introduce Affiliate training approach and tools
  • Work with Implementation and client training team to identify training needs for Affiliates for specific client needs
  • Develop tools to measure and determine the effectiveness of training tools and activities
  • Train and manage the professional development of the Affiliate Training Coordinators
  • Perform training and technology demos as needed

Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required and/or 2-3 years of professional training/adult learning experience
  • 5-7 years of management experience required
  • Comfort with technology and learning new systems
  • Comfort with PowerPoint and presentation software
  • Strong extemporaneous public speaking skills
  • Ability to effectively present to a large/ small audience is a must
  • Travel requirements: Travel as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with webinar software is preferred (Zoom preferred, GoToWebinar, WebEx)
  • Experience working with content management software (ie: Adobe RoboHelp) as well as creative software (WalkMe, Camtasia, Microsoft Office, Articulate storyline) is a plus
