Job Description:

The Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist will handle full cycle recruiting of high volume roles within Paylocity as well as provide support to the Talent Acquisition team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  The Talent Acquisition Specialist will help execute staffing objectives; work with Hiring Managers and assist with the candidate experience.  The Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist will be required to travel back and forth from the Arlington Heights and Schaumburg Paylocity offices, in order to accommodate candidate greets /tour requests. 

 

This is a highly visible role, therefore, maintaining professionalism and providing top-notch service is critical.

  

Performance Objectives:

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting telephone interviews, scheduling candidates for onsite interviews, offer letter administration, background check processing and on-boarding of new hires.
  • Consult and make recommendations to hiring managers on interview process and candidate selection.
  • Support Talent Acquisition Specialists by serving as the point of contact for candidates during their onsite interviews; greet and tour candidates and ensure a best class candidate experience.
  • Responsible for various social media and marketing initiatives for employer branding. 
  • Assist other Talent Acquisition Specialists by facilitating the interview process (schedule/reschedule onsite interviews, coordinate in-person interview days including candidate travel, booking rooms).
  • Facilitate and manage content for social media campaigns; maintain creative solutions to assist with marketing and branding functions as related to Talent Acquisition efforts.
  • Manage our documentation within the applicant tracking system including running monthly reports to track progress of recruitment metrics; posting jobs; collecting and uploading Hiring Manager interview notes.
  • Be point of contact for managers to coordinate any seasonal/temporary needs.
  • Assist with the coordination of hiring events including professional and college job fairs and local marketing initiatives to create employer brand awareness.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition department in any way that helps ensure that our fast-paced recruiting environment runs smoothly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Management team to establish work priorities. 
  • Maintain communication with active candidates during the hiring process to ensure continued interest and to address and anticipate issues.
  • Maintain metrics for open and filled positions.

Experience and Skills:

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative or support experience; preferably relevant work experience in a fast-paced recruiting or HR environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and navigate new software 
  • Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, and organization
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives with occasional supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Creative/outside the box thinker
  • Great at prioritizing and calmly reacts to unforeseen changes to plans
  • Familiarity with Talent Acquisition concepts, practices and procedures a plus!
  • Ability to travel between Arlington Heights and Schaumburg office locations
