As an Associate, Talent Operations, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to all Relativity team members. You will assist with the HR program administration including all benefits and retirement programs, payroll and HR systems. The Associate, Talent Operations works under steady direction of managers and senior team members.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to all team members
- Educate and refer team members to appropriate tools and resources
- Provide appropriate information on escalated issues to senior team members
- Thoroughly research and respond to issues, questions, and requests from team members
- Identify and recommend process improvements to gain efficiency and reduce errors
- Facilitate Total Rewards new hire orientation, and assist with the onboarding of new team members
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Administer benefit and payroll programs by following defined processes, updating appropriate systems, and researching and resolving issues
- Assist with open enrollment, compensation reviews, performance management, and bi-weekly payroll
- Maintain employee records, payroll operations, and HRIS while keeping information confidential
- Comply with all international, federal, state, and local laws
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Additional duties and projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations and legislation (e.g., PPACA, ERISA, IRS, DOL, FMLA, ADAA, COBRA, HIPAA)
- Knowledge of technical aspects of benefits administration (e.g., discrimination testing and government reporting obligations)
Minimal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, or at east one year of HR experience including benefits, payroll, and HR systems
- Previous customer service experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with a strong attention to detail
