The Role:

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all payroll for Paro. This role will also support the benefits program offering along with any updates each year. You will partner with our People Team and all 3rd party stakeholders to accomplish short and long-term tasks. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct competitor research and compensation analysis to ensure Paro is competitive with our comp packages across all teams
• Work closely with the People Team to ensure competitiveness of all employee compensation and benefits programs/information including voluntary benefits
• Deliver a great employee experience when it comes to benefits, working closely with our benefit partners to deliver benefits that invest in our employees at different stages of their lives & stay competitive.
• Work as a close partner across other HR and Support Function teams and external providers to support C&B administration management and enhancement with a goal to identify and drive continuous improvement
• Optimize our HR systems for compensation and benefit processes, minimizing manual processes when it comes to employee changes - promotions, terminations, salary changes
• Support analysis and research on best practices when it comes to Sales Compensation
• Report regularly on our compensation and benefits offering against market, employee and candidate feedback
• Design and develop compensation metrics and analytics proactively and ad-hoc to inform compensation decisions and forecast, report, and/or analyze compensation data
• Drive data collation and submission in preparation of annual budgeting activities
• Participate in the development of compensation & benefits communication materials and trainings

How You’ll Add Value:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred -- HR or related field
• 2+ years of experience in benefits administration and payroll processing
• Quick Learner: able to grasp payroll & benefits systems in a timely and efficient manner
• Handle confidential wage information at all times
• Must be analytical and methodical with benefits administration
• Possess excellent understanding of benefits programs
• Efficient with MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Bring professionalism and efficiency when working with others
