Under general direction, sources, interviews and recommends placement of candidates for entry-level and/or experienced managerial/professional positions. Works closely with internal partners to develop job specifications, recommends hiring approaches and coordinates business unit interviews. 1. Sources, interviews and recommends placement of candidates to managers for entry-level and experienced managerial/professional positions.2. Screens resumes and applications to evaluate the qualifications of applications and identifies potential candidates for employment.3. Works closely with hiring managers to develop job specifications and coordinates business unit interviews.4. Sources candidates utilizing the Internet, employee referrals, manager referrals, candidate referrals, advertising, job fairs, college recruiting, and general inquiries/unsolicited resumes.5. Communicates job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules, and working conditions to applications. 6. Builds candidate pipelines.7. Sells Northern Trust as an employer of choice to candidates and assists in equipping managers to do likewise.8. Advises candidates on Northern¿s hiring policies, practices and procedures.9. Negotiates salaries, signing bonuses, and relocation packages with qualified applicants and educates managers on these issues.10. Maintains relationships with different recruiting partners including colleges and third party recruitment firms.11. More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas.12. Serves as a key subject matter expert and may mentor Analyst level employees.13. Handles all types of recruitment analysis and proposes appropriate action.14. May work on assigned projects and learning project management skills.

5 - 6 years of directly related experience More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions. Requires good analytical ability, excellent oral and written communication skills and strong judgment. Strong consulting skills and experienced in client servicing and relationship building. Strong systems skills, particularly recruitment systems. Good understanding of compensation policies and practices. Excellent sales skills.
