Contract Talent Sourcer
The Role
Fusion is growing…FAST, and we're looking for a Contract Talent Sourcer to support our Chicago-based HR recruiting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying candidates and fostering strong relationships to meet our hiring needs, both present and future. You will directly support two full-cycle recruiters with sourcing candidates for our open roles and resume screening.
At Fusion, a successful Contract Talent Sourcer will:
- Develop a strong understanding of Fusion's business, candidate value proposition, and recruiting process
- Be able to quickly understand the needs of the role and create a strategy on how to identify and attract the best talent
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Actively source and assess highly qualified candidates from a variety of sources and communities: online, employee referrals, events, networking, and research
- Actively manage at least 6 open roles at any point in time and assist to fill 3-5 positions each month. During periods of rapid growth, the number of open roles to manage and expectations for positions filled will be significantly higher
- Manage high-volume recruiting across assigned roles while always prioritizing quality candidates
- Maintain excellent system hygiene within Applicant Tracking System
- Provide timely status updates with the Recruiters you are supporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ years' sourcing and identifying talent, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment
- Flexibility, and can shift gears rapidly to recruit across multiple functions, from sales to service delivery, or from finance to product and engineering
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to connect with and build relationships with candidates
- Experience sourcing from a variety of resources
- Self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, and comfort with being the face of Fusion
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Strong familiarity with using Boolean search methodologies on search engines and LinkedIn
- Your BS/BA degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business
- Willingness to take on a short-term contract position that will require no more than 25 hours per week (but could vary with demand)
