About The Role
Yello is seeking an energetic and hardworking corporate recruiter to join our fast-growing organization. Your role will be meta in nature as you use our suite of award-winning talent acquisition products to recruit the next generation of Yello employees. You will manage the entire lifecycle of recruitment for the roles to which you are assigned, including but not limited to, creatively sourcing a passive candidate pool, conducting screens, building relationships with candidates and hiring managers, leading and guiding the interview process, recruitment marketing, hosting events, offer negotiation and role closing. A passion for technology is essential- not only will you be asked to provide feedback and insight into our tools, you will be recruiting the talent that sells and supports them!
How You'll Make An Impact
- Manage all phases of the corporate recruiting process and pipeline in order to achieve hiring goals
- Act as a hiring consultant to our team- You will build relationships with hiring managers, assist in budgeting headcount, conduct interview training, and consult on best practices
- Act as an expert on Yello’s platform, vision, goals, organizational structure, compensation, and marketplace trends at the local and national level
- Build pipeline of both active and passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques by mining existing contacts, social media, attending events
- Develop and execute a scalable diversity hiring strategy
- Impact change through a focus on metrics, reporting and tracking
- Build our impact at the campus level by focusing on our flagship industry, university recruiting.
- Provide ideas, feedback, and perspective on our suite of talent acquisition products through your involvement in user research, feature enhancements and support escalation
- Maintain involvement in the Chicago tech community as you attend and host industry events
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment at either an in-house or agency role
- Proven ability to meet hiring deadlines, exceed quotas, and/or fill a high volume of technical roles
- Experience with creative sourcing techniques and Boolean search- someone who understands the priorities of leveraging social media to source talent
- Passion for recruiting tools and technology
- Experience managing relationships with third party vendors and recruitment partners
- Possess a strong local network in technology-related fields and be able to utilize your network to generate a strong referral pipeline.
- Consultative mindset especially when dealing with hiring managers- how can you coach on best hiring practices?
- A passionate closer who understands the art of negotiation and can work to get all parties a “win”
- Bachelor degree preferred
