ThinkMarkets is looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join our HR & Recruitment division, and partner with our growing Chicago team.

As an Internal Recruiter, you will have the experience to grow with the rapidly expanding business. You will act as a trusted partner to our business leaders, and the broader HR team, while working to find great talent for ThinkMarkets. You will have a direct access to the firm’s departments and projects, to help you define the requirements for new openings, as well as develop detailed profiles of target candidates. You will be expected to gather a solid understanding of strategic business priorities and critical talent segments, to design and deliver an effective recruitment strategy for niche skillets across a variety of roles. You will build, drive, and execute the internal recruiting strategies we use to make sure our employees have the best experience when they apply to our roles. 

The successful candidate will utilise their robust experience and knowledge of data driven recruitment, to effectively source and engage with the world-class talent (e.g. postings, referrals, proactive outreach, etc.), and manage a solid talent pipeline on end to end basis.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process for candidates & roles across several departments and regions, and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience;
  • Collaborate with HR and senior leaders to understand internal hiring needs and goals;
  • Develop detailed profiles of target candidates and map the external talent landscape to match those data points;
  • Build compelling job descriptions to attract qualified candidates;
  • Actively manage our talent pipelines by identifying trends and leveraging knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized sourcing strategies;
  • Find, engage and activate passive candidates using Boolean searches, and other alternative search techniques;
  • Source and screen candidates for multiple job openings simultaneously;
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable and data-driven recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule;
  • Carefully assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes;
  • Maintain applicant tracking data and regularly report on hiring outcomes and recruitment metrics;
  • Organize and participate in onsite and offsite recruitment events, including industry events, job fairs, conferences, etc;
  • Demonstrate an agile mindset in order to pivot and support other areas when needed.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Sound academic record, evidenced by a Bachelor’s degree, or higher;
  • 3+ years of proven experience in full lifecycle recruiting (preferably both as an in-house recruiter and a staffing agency recruiter);
  • An expert user of various job boards and LinkedIn;
  • A good judge of talent and potential;
  • Demonstrable hands on experience with various recruitment & selection processes (phone interviewing, competency testing, reference checks etc);
  • Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (experience with BambooHR is a plus);
  • Demonstrable success of building and managing robust talent pipelines;
  • Consistent track record of sourcing, recruiting, and closing extraordinary talent across all seniority levels (associate, middle-management, executive);
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to own projects from start to finish.
