Job Summary:

RedShelf’s Corporate Training Manager develops and implements job specific, product training and professional development curriculums. In addition to training internal stakeholders they will create and manage product training materials for our external stakeholders. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to teach complex products and processes. The Corporate Training Manager should be passionate about advancing our mission through on-the-job education.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate RedShelf’s training needs for corporate team members and product support.
  • Create and direct internal seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions for new and advancing workflows for existing employees.
  • Conduct needs assessments for existing and emerging products, and identify training requirements to build out product training, guided learning paths, and in-depth technology training catalogs. Become a product expert, create training collateral for internal and external users and lead training for both sets of stakeholders.
  • Deliver engaging, interactive, effective training to adult learners. This will include everything from new hire orientation to professional development sessions for leadership.
  • Coach new coworkers to develop and refine required skills, work alongside Human Resources to support and mentor new employees.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure training programs are in place for job success, share best practices and support department initiatives.
  • Participate on project teams to design and develop participant and instructional materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness and success. Periodically report on programs; use metrics as benchmarks and offer evidence of the effectiveness of the training and organizational change.
  • Leverage creativity and utilize a wide variety of training techniques, such as case study, role playing, group activities, icebreaker exercises, etc. to deliver training programs that engage learners and increase retention.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, education, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Corporate Trainer or Training Specialist.
  • Experience in the information technology field with knowledge and experience in SaaS.
  • Track record of designing and executing successful training programs including, but not limited to, management training and leadership skills training.
  • Certification in adult education or corporate training is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of training procedures, methodologies, and collateral materials.
  • Exceptional communicator with extraordinary public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ideal candidate is self-sufficient and highly motivated, self-directed and possesses high energy and a passion for RedShelf.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Solid technical background and proven track record of delivering technical training in instructor-led and asynchronous modalities.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other e-learning software.

Other Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge and appreciation of the corporate learning and professional development landscape, learning materials, and / or digital publishing.
  • Comfort and/or experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment - able to deal with some ambiguity.
