What You’ll Do:
As the Director of People you will be responsible for the overall employee experience. You’ll be leading the charge on building out our team, policies and people-processes within the organization. The position will partner with the leadership team to develop and execute HR and people operations strategies and programs that support our business objectives and evolve, develop and grow our culture. We need a leader with experience in planning, designing and implementing a set of People initiatives that meet the business objectives of the company, and also supports and advocates for our employees.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all dimensions of human resources with a strong emphasis on supporting our recruiting, onboarding and retention processes as we continue to grow
Establish and customize a people/talent strategy that supports the current company but also prepares it for growth and expansion
Partner with the leadership team to build and execute our hiring strategy; improving our interview processes and sourcing strategy to limit costs and improve efficiency
Develop and manage a quality People Operations infrastructure: systems, processes and programs; e.g. benefits, compensation, HRIS administration, and confidential information
Determine where technology can be used to automate systems and processes, reduce costs and create efficiencies in the function
Develop and implement effective communication and employee engagement strategies that translates into quantitative results
Ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Provide analysis and insight that allows stakeholders to make informed decisions based on a full understanding of CarrierDirect culture and employee/business needs
Partner with the leadership team to plan short, medium, and long-term people needs and build and deliver on plans for hiring
Serve as a strategic partner to the Leadership team to build a world-class culture and successfully implement strategic solutions supporting business growth and employee engagement and retention
Required:
7+ years of experience in human resources or a related function
Hands-on experience in recruiting and building out a recruiting infrastructure
Previous experience working in a start-up environment, technology or services company preferred
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, detail-oriented, and organized
Data-driven and curious problem solver
Preferred:
BA in related field
SPHR/PHR certification
