Company Description

The Performance and Talent Management Director is responsible for innovative global end-to-end talent management strategy, which includes deepening existing performance and talent management frameworks, introducing new ways to elevate the employee experience, and leading new approaches to support organizational adaptability in a fast-paced, high growth environment. The director will partner closely with the Global Talent, Performance and Culture team to ensure alignment across DEI, culture, and performance management strategies. The role will report into the VP of Talent, Culture and Performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities include: 
 

  • Work in partnership with business HR to define, implement and manage end-to-end talent strategies to achieve business growth plans and enable a high-performing culture 

  • Deliver comprehensive and innovative Talent management strategy and philosophy (performance management, succession planning, promotion, talent reviews and career development). 

  • Support business-led transformation initiatives by implementing and leveraging talent practices (e.g., talent assessment, competencies development, organization design and effectiveness, etc. 

  • Help build change leadership capability across the organization 

  • Delivers and leads all aspects of the annual Talent Review process, including a comprehensive approach for assessing, planning, managing, and developing talent globally 

  • Deploy and facilitate core talent management processes (e.g., succession mgt. & performance mgt.) 

  • Develop and manage overall retention strategy 

  • Build and manage a diverse, leadership talent pipeline 

  • Identify and manage key talent segments for growth, leveraging enterprise leadership development programs and solutions 

  • Identify, cultivate, and coach top talent through intentional career journeys, cross-enterprise experiences (e.g., rotations or talent moves), and leadership competency development 

  • Develop coaching and mentoring programs to enable firm growth

Qualifications

Qualifications 
 
Basic Requirements: 
 

  • Requires a BA degree in HR related field and 8 years of talent management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 

  • Experience creating talent management-related strategies such as process improvement and strategic development required. 
     

Preferred Qualifications 
 

  • 8+ years of HR, talent management, and/or leadership development experience 

  • 3-5 years of experience successfully partnering with clients, strategic HR Business Partners and Talent Centers of Expertise to advise and implement end to end talent practices 

  • 3-5 years of people management experience 

  • Experience in “academy” organizations and/or Fortune 100 companies known for strong HR practices 

  • Experience creating and implementing end-to-end talent strategies in a large, growing, and complex business 

  • Expertise as a specialist or generalist in leading two or more talent management processes, including but not limited to succession planning and management, performance management, coaching, leadership development, organizational design, and effectiveness 

  • Demonstrated success at leveraging contemporary HR models and technologies
