This is not a remote position, and it will require one day a week in our downtown Chicago office.

Who you are:
Are you driven by a desire to build a data and process driven hiring machine? Does process improvement and enhancement excite you? As the Director of Recruitment, you will work along side team members to innovate and grow recruitment strategies that strengthen our ability to attract, assess, and select talent across all levels of our “Teach With Elevate K-12” partner hiring. You will operationalize strategies that scale our hiring efforts in a streamlined way.
What you will be doing:
- Operationalize our hiring process by breaking down steps, streamlining bottlenecks and making it as predictable as possible
- Adding technology to speed up the recruiting process
- Drive operational and process excellence by continuously evaluating and re-imagining talent attraction and acquisition processes, especially with an eye towards towards high-volume recruiting
- Consult with HR and business leaders to develop and implement functional specific recruiting strategies and programs that drive impact in achieving business results
- Direct large-scale and high-volume recruitment projects in a manner that ensures the effective selection of high quality, diverse new hires
- Creates sourcing best practices and methods and establish/maintain relationships with external organizations to aggressively pursue untapped sources of candidates
- Develops innovative candidate sourcing strategies and best path forward based on market data and analytics
- Manages and cultivates talent pipelines for hard to fill positions based on trend analysis and criteria such as function and geography
- Establish and work with a team of recruiters to ensure they are hitting KPI’s
- Develop and manage analytics to translate future Instruction deliverables into effective workforce planning and hiring
- Ensure an engaging and positive candidate experience at scale
- Oversee pipeline development for Instructors utilizing social media and other creative sources
- Oversee partnerships that drive Instructor quality for hiring
- Manages team of recruiters
- Develops and presents data analytics on pipelines and strategies for hiring
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
- Proven success with high-volume recruitment
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships, influence others at all levels, and drive change in a complex matrixed environment
- Thought leadership, abreast of industry trends and dynamics impacting Talent Acquisition
- Demonstrated project and people leadership
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, conflict management, administration, reasoning and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
