The Director, Talent Management will oversee the enterprise talent management and employee engagement programs within the human resource function, including Talent & Succession Planning, Performance Management, and enterprise continuous listening, life-cycle survey, and e ngagement survey programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior executives and HR to understand KeHE strategic talent needs.
  • Direct the creation of a talent management strategy to continually improve KeHE talent.
  • Lead cyclical talent & succession planning, and performance management programs.
  • Assist with preparation and facilitation of succession planning at the executive level and support HRBPs in conducing talent review and succession processes and discussions.
  • Continuously improve talent processes drawing on best and next practices.
  • Ensure talent programs support diversity and inclusion strategies and outcomes.
  • Oversee an enterprise program of continuous listening and employee engagement.
  • Identify and design lifecycle and other ad-hoc surveys to support HR and KeHE priorities.
  • Maintain cutting-edge subject matter expertise in talent management & engagement.
  • Lead and manage others to execute on talent management and engagement goals.
  • Source and manage relationships with third party providers/vendors as needed.
  • Ensure change management, communications, and training are in place to educate HR, leaders and employees on talent management and engagement programs as needed.

Essential Functions

Other Area of Support:

  • Guide the linkage of talent program and data analytics to find new ways to derive second order value from talent data
  • Educate other members of the Human Resource team and business leadership on best practices related to talent management and engagement
  • Performs all other duties as assigned to support the Human Resource function and KeHE

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a preference for an advanced degree in a related field (e.g., M.A./M.S. in Human Resources, I-O Psychology, or Business Management).
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference for 10+ years of experience
  • Strong track record of successfully designing and implementing innovative strategic talent management programs and processes throughout a large organization
  • Expert in presentation and communication skills
  • Expert in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading and managing others
  • Strong business acumen and ability to link business needs with talent strategies
  • Ability to develop highly effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to engage and influence senior leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to manage and manipulate data
  • Ability to use PowerPoint to communicate information and guide decisions
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Exhibits a growth mindset; open to coaching and feedback; continuously learns
  • Demonstrates a passion for the unique mission and values of KeHE
  • Preference for advanced knowledge of research methods and applied statistics
