Employee Relations Manager
Team’s Focus:
Our employee relations center of excellence is our group of subject matter experts on all things Employee Relations. Our team helps make TransUnion a positive and compliant company to work for by staying in touch with labor law changes, recommending policy changes and working to design and execute on programs that support, educate and enable TransUnion associates to succeed.
Overview of Role:
This role is responsible for leading and managing the employee relations center of excellence here at TransUnion. You will design and execute roadmaps for establishing programs, policies and procedures to enable managers, HR professional and associates to work in the most positive and compliant environment possible. Your design will include training materials, and planning and implementing the execution of major programs across the enterprise of a highly complex nature. You’ll also be the HR liaison during corporate investigations, and stay up to date on labor law changes as well as recommend policy change updates when needed. You will report to the employee relations center of excellence Vice President. You will manage the center of excellence staff in the day to day performance of their jobs. You will ensure that project and team milestones and goals are achieved on time and while adhering to approved budgets.

What you’ll bring:
- A bachelor’s college degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years Human Resources experience, preferably work with Employee Relations
- 1- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently and as part of a larger, cross-functional team
- A passion for Employee Relations
Impact you’ll make:
- Serve as employee relations subject matter expert supporting associates, managers, and HR professionals
- Provide counsel and guidance on matters related to employee relations including performance management, business case review and development, disparate impact analysis, corrective counseling, coaching, issue mediation, creating positive work environment, and simple investigations
- Work in conjunction with Corporate Investigation Department on complex investigations reported via the Ethics Hotline.
- Create programs and materials to enable manager and HR professional self-service.
- Provide oversight to policy updates in accordance with local labor law.
Drive annual reporting requirements including affirmative action planning and VETS-100 reporting. Advise on program changes based on reporting results. - Manage case management system and reporting on trends. Provide analysis on trends to drive future roadmap of employee relations center of excellence
