As the Employee Resource Group (ERG) Manager, your focus will center entirely on our ERGs as vehicles for our broader DIBS and talent strategies. You will equip our ERGs to create spaces that center the professional needs and goals of team members who identify as LGBTQIA+, Black, Latinx, Pan-Asian, veterans, women and caregivers. ERGs make it more possible for team members to find their unique fit within our One Upwork community without having to sacrifice meaningful aspects of their identities. This role is located remotely in one of our 14 nexus states or in our Chicago office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Evolve ERG strategy, roadmap and action plans
- Identify opportunities to mechanize ERGs in how Upwork attracts, develops and retains talent
- Devise swim lanes to coordinate execution
- Educate stakeholders on ERG value, impact and responsibilities
- Design and execute on ERG impact measurement plan (surveys, engagement, qualitative)
What it takes to catch our eye:
- Previous experience managing, training or coordinating ERGs
- Previous experience quantifying ERG impact
- Previous experience with and a point of view about ERG frameworks/maturity models
