PHMG is the world's leading audio branding agency, working with 32,000 clients across the globe – including the likes of Audi, Adidas and Coca-Cola. As a company in hyper-growth mode – and one of Chicago's fastest growing media companies – we’re about to launch a third sales floor, and we’d love to welcome you to our North American headquarters in a prime location on North Michigan Avenue.

We’ve established a Center of Excellence for Recruiting at our Chicago Head Office, directly sourcing all our employees across all levels in North America. Following this success, we’re establishing a dedicated Executive Research team – and require a founding member to build this sub-department from the ground up. Supporting the Executive Sales Talent Acquisition team, you’ll research and headhunt the very best elite sales professionals – helping us build depth and market knowledge as we launch on the West Coast this year, and in new locations across the globe in 2020.

This role requires an experienced researcher and talent sourcer who understands the complexities of the market, and can use this knowledge to create a complete strategy for sourcing and engaging the very best sales executives. Management experience is preferable but not essential, so if you’re passionate about researching markets and sourcing top talent, are goal-driven and love to collaborate with a team, and want to work with an established, world-leading brand, please contact us today.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Researching and sourcing for all open North American roles, extending to a global reach as the research team expands
  • Defining an end-to-end candidate sourcing strategy and process
  • Customizing content to improve candidate interest and response percentages
  • Creatively sourcing and identifying quality candidates
  • Mapping markets, industries and companies and creating a go-to strategy when given a brief
  • Maximizing the market through job boards and other various channels
  • Translating job briefs and asking the right questions to build a smart and efficient strategy for targeting the best talent
  • Creating organized systems to manage candidate pipelines and keep accurate records and reports
  • Training Executive Recruiters on the latest sourcing techniques and most efficient ways of utilizing ATS systems, X-Ray searching, Boolean strings and software to contact candidates
  • Delivering high quality results from creative and strategic researching strategies
  • Ensuring that monthly targets are achieved for all Executive Sales roles across the globe
  • Seeking improvements to impact our candidate pipeline and deliver the most efficient candidate experience
  • Building strong working relationships with key figures across the company
  • Conducting telephone pre-screens and assessments to shortlist the best candidates for virtual interviews with the Executive Recruiters
  • Maintaining candidate documentation
  • Arranging offer letters, background checks and employment verification forms
  • Exploring new ways to improve the research process as the company grows, evolves and expands into new markets

Get in touch with us if you:

  • Have at least two years’ experience sourcing candidates within either an Executive Search firm or a Corporate Recruitment setting – ideally with a focus on sourcing sales candidates
  • Are experienced in managing a small team of Researchers –  this team will grow quickly as we expand into new markets
  • Are degree educated within any specialism
  • Would describe yourself as goal or results driven
  • Possess strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Work in a highly detailed and process-oriented manner with the ability to multi-task
  • Have a strong sense of urgency with the ability to thrive under pressure
  • Remain consistently positive, focused and driven
  • Are very ambitious with high personal standards
