HR Associate
Job Summary
Our HR Connect Team supports CNA employees in the United States by answering inquiries via multiple communication channels (phone, email and chat) on a variety of Human Resources topics including procedures and systems, benefits, payroll, timekeeping and HR policies.
We have an opening for an HR Associate to join our team.We are seeking an individual with good organizational skills, who demonstrates initiative, has strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. This role provides a great opportunity to collaborate with teammates and HR peers to assist employees and deliver exceptional customer service!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
- Researches and resolves a broad spectrum of issues for employees that are submitted to the HR Connect team using effective written and verbal communication skills across multiple channels including phone, email and chat.
- Creates and manages HR Connect service tickets and strives to assist the employee with a first call resolution either themselves or by escalating to a team member as appropriate.
- Utilizes multiple HR systems and tools including Workday, ServiceNow, and ADP to ensure accurate and timely responses to employee inquiries, detailing contact concerns and feedback.
- Partners with the HR Centers of Excellence to answer employee questions and to rollout new programs and policies.
- Keeps HR Connect knowledge base up to date in close collaboration with HR Connect team members.
- Processes Workday transactions such as data and job changes, position management, job profiles, and reimbursements. Provides Workday transactional assistance and guidance for managers and HR representatives to enable them to execute business processes.
- Drives innovation in the process and delivery of our services and makes overall process improvement recommendations in line with existing HR and organizational processes.
- Researches, compiles and analyzes HR data and prepares reports for management as required.
- May manage or participate in special projects.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

- Basic knowledge of and ability to interpret HR and organizational policies, practices and procedures.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other business related software systems as well as proficiency in the use of data reporting technologies.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Typically a minimum one year Human Resources experience.
- Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow preferred.
