The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will join a team of three smart, business-minded and hands-on HR professionals. As an HRBP supporting our non-revenue teams, you will be expected to develop strong, collaborative relationships with your clients, partnering our CFO, SVP of Product Management, CTO, and Director of Engineering, as well as other key leaders, to deliver results and maintain high engagement levels.
Your primary focus will be to help your clients meet their business goals while exemplifying Fusion’s values; however, you will also own the management and ongoing development of the processes/programs of two or more HR focus areas (e.g. Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Policy & Compliance, HR Systems, etc.).
On a day-to-day basis, this role will be responsible for:
Recruiting. You will own the recruiting process for your teams from start to finish. Offboarding. For terminating employees, you will conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to management for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Performance Management. You’ll work closely with your clients on our performance management process but spend much of your time outside the formal review period with your clients on goal setting and individual development planning.
Employee Relations. You will be the main contact for employees within your teams, responsible for handling and resolving any employee relations issues, as well as conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations. You will partner with our Sr. Vice President of Human Resources or our legal team, as needed or required.
Compensation & Benefits. In partnership with the HR team, you will answer employee benefit-related questions and participate in the administration of Fusion’s open enrollment process. And, you will provide consultation, guidance and support on our compensation program as well as job leveling and market analysis.
Policy & Compliance. You’ll be expected to advise key leaders and managers on established policies and procedures, as well as administer and enhance/shape the future-direction of these policies. You will also be expected to maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
