Department OverviewThe Talent Acquisition Human Resources Specialist is part of a newly formed team reporting to Human Resources Operations responsible for complete management of the MSI new hire experience including process oversight and introduction to MSI from offer letter to post start date activities.
Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Human Resources Specialist will perform a variety of activities in support of the MSI new hire experience including but not limited to:
- Generation of offer letters and all applicable documents including monitoring for completion of required documents, acceptance and candidate communications.
- Coordination of interview planning and travel for specific roles within MSI.
- Initiation and results monitoring of all required pre-hire checks. Coordination with candidate and legal for negative results scenarios.
- Responsibility for initiating and monitoring entire onboarding process in Workday for task completion at various steps, follow up with applicable MSI teams as needed.
- Management of all items required for new hire day 1 set up including equipment, location, system access, security, logistics, pay and benefits, etc.
- Scheduling and presentation of weekly new hire “Welcome to MSI” sessions.
- Create, analyze and distribute various talent acquisition reports throughout the organization as it relates to the new hire process and applicable metrics.
- Manage onboarding for all acquisitions as they occur including coordination with HR technology, Benefits, Payroll, HRBP, employee and management team.
- Responsible for oversight of international transfers and assignments that occur as part of the TA process.
- Project work including quarterly I9 audit, employee referral program management, post hire background checks and intern program coordination.
- Partner with applicable MSI teams including IT, Payroll and HR Technology to proactively problem solve for new hire issues.
- Opportunity for additional scope/exposure within other areas of HR as applicable and desired.

- Provides situational leadership as needed to identify/solve problems.
Basic Requirements
- 2 years experience in a human resources and/or customer service or administrative role required
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelors degree preferred, high school diploma required
