Job Description

As a part of the Ops/Tech Human Resources team, you will work with a group of talented HR professionals to provide foundational HR support in the technology and operations space within our Consumer Goods business. The HR Representative is responsible for end to end data management for a set of client groups, working closely with the HR Business Partners for those teams to ensure accurate data management.

 

In this role, you will lead all efforts related to managing employee data, running and analyzing HR reports, launching talent sessions, and coordinating the new hire workflow and on-boarding process. In addition, you will be responsible for addressing inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures both for your clients and the Chicago office, and working on special HR projects.

HR DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Own end to end global data management for assigned technology and operations client groups, including all SAP updates, reporting, employment letters, and audits

  • Ownership and accountability for all hiring Trackers, including SAP data management completion, proper tracking of all open roles, tracking of all exits, and movement of closed or hired positions

  • Run and leverage organizational reports to analyze and compare data, putting together data driven people insights for your HR Business Partners

  • Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners to launch global bi-annual talent review sessions; collect and update talent data in Success Factors, and provide talent and rating analysis breakdowns as required

  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers to coordinate the new hire workflow and on-boarding process

  • Own all off-boarding processes, including global SAP changes and US-based exit interviews

  • Act as the Chicago site point of contact for all policy and procedure questions from associates, ensuring they are properly directed and issues are resolved timely

  • Work with our Immigration team to provide support as needed for all Visa requirements for assigned client groups in the US

  • Other special projects as assigned, such as engagement efforts, job alignment refresh, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field 

  • 1-2 years of Human Resources experience in any industry, including internships

  • Knowledge of US employment law and practices, knowledge of human resources practices preferred

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint & Word and/or Google Sheets, Slides, Docs. Proficiency with basic formulas for data reporting, analysis, and collation.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; ability to effectively organize data

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a results-orientation and excellent time management skills

  • Excellent multi-tasking ability across various tasks

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, across all levels of the organization

  • Engaging and proactive team player, with a customer service orientation

  • SAP proficiency (input & reporting) preferred

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL and commute to downtown Chicago office location
