The Neighbrhoods.com HR department of two is doing big things and looking to expand! We’re looking for a Human Resources Coordinator who can provide tactical and administrative support in the areas of recruitment, payroll, compliance, and onboarding. This opportunity is perfect for someone looking to take on a wide range of HR-related responsibilities in a supportive environment but still looking for guidance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
  • Recruiting/staffing for internships and entry-level roles
  • Onboarding new team members, including setting up technology
  • Providing outstanding internal customer service to team members at all levels
  • Writing all-company communications for initiatives impacting the employee experience
  • Helping with the development and execution of training programs
  • Creating content that supports and promotes our employer brand
  • Supporting DEI initiatives (Have ideas? We want to hear them.)
  • Providing your input on other HR activities and initiatives

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 4 years of HR experience, including payroll and recruiting
  • Project management skills
  • G Suite skills (sheets, docs, slides) and ability to create “on-brand” documents
  • Comfortable using a MacBook

 About you:

  • Good listener balanced with ability to "push back" and challenge constructively
  • Ability to think several steps ahead, develop contingency plans, and adjust when needed
  • Ability to maintain high level of discretion with personal and sensitive information
  • Organized, motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Superb communication, project management, and critical thinking skills
  • Professional, reliable, and a team player 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience using JIRA for project management or Confluence for documentation
  • Experience using Greenhouse ATS
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
  • A professional HR certification like SHRM, HCI, HRCI, etc.
