So, what’s the role?
Kin is looking to add an experienced, well-rounded HR professional to our small but mighty People team. We are looking for someone with a background in employee relations, HR administration, benefits management, payroll and compensation, on and off boarding, performance management, and employment law. We realize that’s a long list! You don’t need to be an expert in all of these areas but expertise in a few and familiarity in the rest would be ideal. We currently partner with a PEO service to provide overall support but we’ll value your opinion on how to shape decisions on these topics and future of the organization.
We’ve grown steadily over the last several years and we aren’t slowing down. We need a builder who can review our current programs and processes to find areas of improvement as well as build programs from scratch and drive them to completion. Your ability to use data and bring you expertise within HR will be essential as we look to evaluate our PEO and Benefit strategy, our compensation mix, and our performance management process - to name a few potential projects.

I’ve got the skills...but do I have the necessary ones?
- 5+ years of experience working within HR at a high growth company
- Experience with many aspects of HR including: employee relations, HR administration, benefits management, payroll, employment law
- Understanding of HR best practices and how to implement those practices
- Experience partnering with technical leaders for: performance management, compensation analysis, leadership challenges
- Works with a sense of urgency
- Comfortable partnering with all areas of the business, especially our technical leadership team
- Effective coach and influencer
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization to build trust and rapport
- Proficiency with GSuite, comfortable working with data, and using metrics to drive decisions
- Experience within a customer service focused or B2C environment a nice to have but not required
