Who You Are:

PartySlate seeks a highly-motivated HR Manager to join the rapidly-growing startup team. The HR Manager will report to VP Finance and Operations and will partner with leaders across the organization in marketing, product, and sales to effectively grow their team and develop their culture.

Responsibilities might include: 

  • Lead hiring efforts including full accurate job descriptions, sourcing applicants, interviewing, calling referrals, and closing qualified entry- to senior-level candidates
  • Create and manage onboarding process for new hires
  • Manage performance reviews process - set guidelines and timelines, gather info and reflect summary, conclusions and recommendations to executive management
  • Identify plans for employees development and training
  • Develop and manage employees culture and wellness

 

Human Resources Manager skills and qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or a related area; relevant work experience may be a substitute
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Human Resources with technology companies, especially in a high growth startup environment
  • Experience with human resources information system (HRIS) platforms.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and encourage a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and collaboration
  • Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning

Our Chicago office where we were founded is in between The Merchandise Mart and East Bank Club. We have a flexible hybrid work environment and have employees located all over the country.
