Your Life as a Maven:

We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join our award-winning marketing team! The ideal candidate has experience in developing communications programs that drive employee engagement, manage through change, and amplify company culture. You will work closely with the marketing team and leadership from the broader organization to create and deliver new internal communications, while ensuring consistency in messaging. Strong writing and storytelling skills are a must, as is thriving in a fast-paced environment. This is a newly created position, so an entrepreneurial drive and creativity are key to success! 

Responsibilities include:

• Shape and execute on our internal communications initiatives from beginning to end.
• Create innovative ways to communicate that inform and motivate employees.
• Support company strategy by communicating key updates to the organization, tailored for our diverse employee base.
• Ensure internal communications are aligned and consistent with brand voice by collaborating with marketing team members. 
• Represent communications in cross-functional teams to drive alignment around business objectives, key issues, and to advance broader company initiatives.
• Work closely with the functional leads within the operations team to ensure that new programs have a communication strategy.
• Develop a company-wide recognition strategy that highlights the individual, team and company-wide outcomes and achievements that we want to celebrate as a company.
• Develop and execute the strategy for internal company events that build connection and morale. 
• Determine how internal communications can play a key role in maintaining a consistent company culture and employee experience. 
• Ensure internal communications/events (Town Halls, company updates, etc.) with Atos and Maven Wave are captured appropriately between the two entities.
• Ability to meet aggressive timelines across different departments 
• Measure and analyze internal communications efforts for their effectiveness against stated goals.

Your Expertise:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in a communications role.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• A creative mindset and a passion for communications.
• Experience using Hubspot or similar tools is a plus. 
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Ability to meet aggressive timelines across different departments. 
• Ability to be a self starter and a team player.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
