As a Lead Technology Recruiter you will play a vital role in running end-to-end recruitment campaigns and hire top candidates for roles across Engineering (Full Stack, Platform, Data Science/ML) and Product functions at Instawork. From job description creation to candidate offer-acceptance, you will drive the full cycle of our talent acquisition processes while evolving our strategies to establish our reputation as a best-in-class Recruiting Team. You will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and senior leadership, not only designing end-to-end recruiting campaigns, but also leveraging your analytical skills and business acumen to highlight strengths and opportunities in our efforts to catalyze high functioning teams. 


The ideal candidate is a well-rounded talent acquisition professional who is a natural talent magnet -- one who excels at recruiting candidates from a diverse range of skill sets and backgrounds. Success will require an impeccably rigorous bar for candidate quality, a creative and strategic approach to problem-solving, influencing senior leaders, a data-driven approach to performance measurement, and operating with a high degree of integrity.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have at least 8 years of full cycle recruiting experience in technology functions, including a minimum 3 years of in-house experience at a high-growth, fast-paced tech company
  • You are an experienced talent partner to leadership; driving improvements in talent acquisition strategy at every stage of your career
  • You develop your own data analysis and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to hiring partners and senior leadership
  • You bring an established network of top technical talent
  • You operate with a high degree of empathy and integrity for both candidates and hiring partners
  • You are a keen problem-solver, finding innovative and creative solutions to complex problems
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an immaculate attention to detail
  • You have mentored and managed other recruiters

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Own end-to-end recruiting process -- plan, job description creation, source, assess, and close -- for mid-level and senior roles throughout our tech functions
  • Drive top-of-funnel talent pipelines and create robust networks with an emphasis on candidate diversity
  • Partner with senior leaders throughout our tech functions to provide data-driven updates, talent strategy recommendations, and team-health insights
  • Build enduring recruiting capabilities by prioritizing programs and opportunities that enable systemic improvements in our recruiting model
  • Contribute to highly collaborative, creative, and high-performing team by serving as a model for partnership, mentorship, and integrity
  • Develop junior recruiters and leverage them for maximum impact
