Learning Experience Facilitator

As a Learning Experience Facilitator, you’ll use your domain expertise to design, build, maintain, and facilitate on-demand learning and instructor-led-training/virtual-instructor-led-training (ILT/VILT), blended and eLearning programs. As a key member of our Organizational Development team, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to identify learning needs and develop engaging strategies to deliver meaningful and actionable best in class learning and development opportunities across Sprout and within teams. This is your chance to balance both facilitation of internal instructor-led-training/virtual-instructor-led-training (ILT/VILT) programs and courses and create a road map to continuously upskill our learning practitioners across Sprout to make a broad-reaching impact in service to the development of Sprout’s employees.
Since this role is focused on a strong command of instructional design and inclusive and engaging facilitation skills, we’re looking for someone with proven expertise and success in creating and implementing learning & development content within a high-growth environment and across distributed teams.

Qualifications
These are the minimum qualifications that our hiring team is looking for in this role:
- 1-2 years experience facilitating live training
- 1-2 years of experience creating blended learning experiences
- 1-2 years of experience managing or contributing to large cross-functional projects
Additionally, these are the preferred qualifications that would indicate a particularly strong candidate:
- Has experience running and facilitating a training campaign/initiative from beginning to end at a previous company
- Familiarity with Articulate is a plus
Within 1 month, you will...
- Complete Sprout’s New Hire training program alongside other new Sprout team members. You’ll gain a broader understanding of our product, our people, and how your role fits into the organization.
- Understand as much as you can about the culture, products, teams, and projects of Sprout to creatively support our award winning culture.
- Conduct initial 1:1s to develop relationships with key stakeholders to uncover and understand their learning & development needs.
- Review past employee survey data and speak to employees across the organization to develop an understanding of employee experience as it pertains to learning & development.
- Familiarize yourself with Sprout’s existing learning & development programs and initiatives.
Within 3 months, you will…
- Begin to design training rollout plans and facilitate new and existing learning experiences, including on-demand, ILT/VILT and blended learning.
- Bring new and innovative ways to promote voluntary learning experiences and growth opportunities across Sprout.
- Internally market our curated learning paths/materials to increase engagement with on-demand training opportunities.
- Track key metrics for learning & development programming and use this data to help identify future needs.
Within 6 months, you will…
- Develop a strategy for bringing our currently outsourced leadership development programs in house - from facilitation to the overall learner experience.
- Begin to contribute instructional design expertise and consultative support for internal initiatives and programs.
- Conduct needs analysis and performer analysis of learning program target audiences to inform program improvements or to propose new programs.
- Leverage pertinent learning communication channels to increase knowledge sharing and create excitement among training participants.
Within 12 months, you will…
- Co-lead the Learning Subject Matter Experts (SME) Peer Group, designed to establish, support and iterate on best practices across learning functions at Sprout.
- Informally mentor and coach others at Sprout who are interested in learning program administration, design, and facilitation as part of their career development.
- Partner with the broader Organizational Development team on developing initiatives particularly where there is a strong learning component
- Surprise us! Use your unique ideas and abilities to change Sprout in beneficial ways that we haven’t even considered yet.
Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.
