The Learning Specialist will support the field sales organization of 200 team members to maximize their effectiveness by determining and solving training needs. This will be accomplished through conducting virtual webinars and live training programs for new and existing employees. The incumbent will be responsible for content development and implementation of training modules. In addition, the Learning Specialist will be the administrator of the learning management system and report to the Director, Sales Enablement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Director Sales Enablement (DSE) on training assignments, facilitation, coaching and content development.
  • Manage the Rewards Network Rapid Training (RNRT) Learning Management System as administrator, and program content developer utilizing Captivate and other online tools.
  • Train and be subject matter expert on Salesforce within the sales organization
  • Content developer including eLearning modules, incorporate video, graphics into learning content, instructor led courseware
  • Knowledgeable and/or certified in SPIN Selling methodology preferred, but not required; knowledge of other sales methodologies a plus.
  • Conduct webinars, coach and evaluate Account Executives / Account Managers (AE/AM), focusing on the development of financial product acumen, Rewards Network and competitive product knowledge, selling skills, and other job performance-related skills and knowledge.
  • Stay current on best practices for effective adult learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; will consider equivalent experience as substitute for degree.
  • 5 years of combined experience in both field sales and training.
  • Knowledge of SPIN Selling or other sales methodologies a desirable.
  • Familiarity with financial services and/or merchant cash advance services, media and hospitality experience is highly advantageous.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Experience coaching field sales professionals and developing sales training curriculum.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to actively listen.
  • Must be well organized, have excellent time management skills and the aptitude to prioritize.
  • Proficient skill using a computer; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) experience required.
  • Familiarity with mobile learning tools such as Captivate or Cornerstone.
