The role
The ideal Manager, Compensation for Kin + Carta is innovative, passionate about creating an amazing employee experience, looks to continually learn, and enjoys sharing expertise. Strong verbal and written communication are a must. Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment, or in a consulting capacity is a plus.
Role responsibilities
- Develop compensation programs that are in line with the Total Rewards strategy.
- Select and participate in relevant compensation surveys.
- Conduct ad-hoc and comprehensive compensation market analysis.
- Create and monitor salary structure(s).
- Provide guidance to EX and leadership on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations.
- Incentive plan creation, governance, and administration
- Own the compensation review and incentive cycle process in our HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce)
- Facilitate the compensation review and bonus cycles through our HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce)
Minimum qualifications
We want all new hires to succeed in their roles at Kin + Carta. That's why we've outlined the job requirements below. To be considered for this role, it's important that you meet all Minimum Qualifications. If you do not meet all of the Preferred Qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.
- 5+ years of progressive compensation experience
- 3+ years of compensation experience supporting the US market
- 2+ years experience creating, governing, or administering incentive plans
Preferred qualifications
- Compensation experience in Europe or Latin America
- Proficient in the Spanish language
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills (filters, pivot tables, conditional formulas, v-look ups, etc.).
- HRIS experience (preferably Ceridian Dayforce).
- World at Work Certification.
- Experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data.
- Strong project management, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization.
- Go-getter with ideas and the follow-through to accomplish them from start to finish.
- Experience in a consulting or technology organization.
- Empathetic HR professional who strives to ensure all employees have a great working experience.
