Job Description

The role will primarily focus on above-restaurant efforts involving building awareness, assisting in the development of leadership development tools to support D&I while protecting the Brand through proactive engagement. This person will also partner cross divisionally to drive D&I projects through from concept to implementation through stakeholder alignment, thought leadership, and assertive execution.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyzes organizational processes and data to determine strategies and resources needed to build organizational culture and employee capability to support Diversity & Inclusion vision and goals.
  • Partners with divisional HR, OD, and Ops resources, building relationships to drive Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
  • Evaluates, enhances and ensures execution of Diversity & Inclusion tools and programs (e.g., Inclusive Leadership, Employee Resource Groups, LIFT2 Council, Women’s Food Service Forum, etc.)
  • Lead Employee Resource Group Council
  • Write and coordinate responses to surveys for ESG ratings/rankings, CEI etc., coordinating with communications and public affairs
  • Develops and executes internal Diversity & Inclusion communications, aligning with stated Recipe for Good and Diversity & Inclusion strategies internally and externally
  • Serves as primary point of contact for vendors and internal customers
  • Represent Yum! in key events/conferences etc.
  • Works with individuals across levels and divisions of the organization and across divisions, from Leadership Team to Team Members, in gathering, analyzing and reporting Diversity & Inclusion related information
  • Provides other logistical support to Chief Diversity Officer as needed


 Minimum Requirements :

Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Master Degree preferred)

Skills and Experience:
• At least 3 years of years of experience in HR/Talent Acquisition, Communications, Public Affairs
• Knowledge of and expertise working with HR and Communications tools, systems, processes, and practices
• Knowledge and experience in partnering with diverse community constituencies to include Under-represented minority advocacy groups, women’s groups, etc.)


Preferred location is Louisville, but will consider, Dallas, Irvine & Chicago for the right person.
