Organizational Development & Talent Director
GoHealh is seeking an Organizational Development & Talent Director who will oversee and influence strategic learning and development initiatives across the GoHealth enterprise – focusing on a consistent and superior learning experience. This individual is responsible for developing content and designing learning curriculum for the non-technical areas of GoHealth which includes but is not limited to Corporate staff and sales center field management.
This individual will be an integral part of the GoHealth HR Strategy & Innovation Team, which establishes HR communication, HR-focused project management, drives change and provides structure and consistency in executing Company-wide strategic initiatives to best serve the business.
This role will report to the Senior Director of HR Strategy & Innovation, and work closely with both HR, front-line, operational, and senior leaders to create and execute the Learning & Development strategy and roadmap for Success. This role will offer solutions—align programs, processes, technology and other tools to optimize the talent capabilities of individual contributors and management. They will also have responsibility in the development of the management lifecycle and directly influence the existing and future growth of the organization’s talent.

Responsibilities
- Identify company wide and business-specific learning and development needs; develops and implements strategic initiatives and solutions to create, lead and grow a world-class learning and development program
- Deliver curriculum exclusively or conduct “train the trainer sessions and/or partners with other leaders, third party trainers and HR to ensure execution takes place
- Serve as a company champion and thought leader on learning and development, and fosters a culture of continuous learning, growth mindset and knowledge sharing. Aides with the development an execution of a formal succession planning and performance management process in conjunction with continuous learning for leaders and individual contributors
- Establishes operational and performance metrics to measure and support learning and development initiatives and programs; drives priorities and measures outcomes and efficacy
- Develops and drives communication, awareness and support of learning and development initiatives and expectations throughout the company
- Assist with the design of Operational manager and leadership development efforts to foster or enhance execution of company strategy through building alignment, growing team member capabilities and prioritizing the employee experience
- Drives the creation of internal content and fiscal-minded exploration of external partners, subject matter experts and available solutions to deliver on company learning and development objectives
- Ensures all learning and development programs and processes incorporate company polices and values while supporting diversity, equity and inclusion
- Evaluates the most appropriate and engaging learning vehicles for programs and initiatives (e.g., LMS, Instructor-Led, virtual, etc.)
- Oversees and guides third-party L&D partners and contractors
- Contributes to the overall design and deployment of the organization’s high potential, succession and other talent management strategies
- Clearly and concisely communicates with stakeholders and senior leaders on the progress of programs, program budgets and design in a timely manner
- Supports the overall HR strategy and brand by patterning with the HR team to build strong and credible internal relationships with other business functions
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with increasing levels of responsibility in the learning & development space
- Significant experience in learning and development design and delivery in multiple methodologies
- Ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships with all levels within the organization—from individual contributors to executives
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one, in small & large groups, to members of management, and/or clients or vendors of the company
- Strong project management, process management and organizational skills
- Deep knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and measures of effective learning and development programs
- Up-to-date knowledge and proficiency in the types and uses of technology in modern corporate learning and development
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and/or Training preferred
- Certifications in L&D related tools/assessments (e.g., MBTI, DiSC, Hogan, Birkman, SDI, etc.) strongly preferred
- Proven record of successfully growing and managing a learning and development program in a complex, multi-location, multi-unit business model
