In this role, you will be responsible for executing aspects of the People Operations function with a focus on payroll and benefits on a global scale. This role requires a high level of flexibility and attention to detail, so you will have an analytical and problem-solving mindset. You are ambitious with proven experience in oversight and review of vendor relationships as it relates to both payroll and benefits. You will ensure compliance in regional implementation and administration of payroll policies and procedures considering relevant laws, policies and regulations. You will work closely with all sides of the organization and participate in other People Operations functions and related projects as needed.
iM Responsible For…
- Accurate, timely and efficient processing, calculating and payment of payroll and related compensation expenses
- Preparing payroll analytics, review metrics and timely delivery of pay files
- Coordinating with People Operations and other iManage teams to help administer monthly payroll for other regions around the globe such as EMEA
- Managing all workflows to ensure that payroll transactions are processed accurately and in a timely fashion
- Calculating any special checks, i.e., termination pay, sales commission, special bonuses, RSUs, Option Grants, etc.
- Maintaining employee files and accuracy of documentation
- Administering employee benefits plans (group health, dental, vision, short-term /long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary plans, flexible spending plan, 401(k) plan, etc.)
- Ensuring that all benefit plans run smoothly; investigating discrepancies and providing information in non-routine situations
- Providing technical research, answering employee questions regarding interpretation of benefit policies, and completing third-party requests
- Working with carriers and providers in monitoring systems and administration of plans and assisting employees with problem resolution
- Collaborating closely with People Operations business partners to ensure proper payroll deductions and reporting for all benefit programs
- Partnering effectively with HR, IT, Finance and other functions to ensure appropriate flow of data and reporting
iM Qualified Because I have…
- A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- 3+ years of Human Resource experience, with experience with outsourced Human Resources and/or outsourced benefits solutions, with emphasis in Benefits, demonstrating general knowledge of HRIS Systems
- 3+ years of hands on payroll experience with salary employees at a global company (ideally for 300+ employees)
- Expertise and strong knowledge of all modules within Ceridian Dayforce
- Experience in administration, compliance and regulatory aspects of benefit plans including Health, Dental, Life, ADD, Disability, Tuition Reimbursement, time away from work, voluntary benefits, and 401(k).
- Experience with multi-state Payrolls and both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Experience with international Payroll (specifically Australian and the UK)
- High functioning, working knowledge of relevant payroll related standards, codes, GAAP, regulations and other related requirements
- Advance skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
